I am using it for my special needs 14 month old. He's about 18 pounds and 29 inches (10th percentile) for reference. He has a feeding tube and usually eats in an infant toddler rocker since he doesn't like his medical chair. He is about 7-8 months developmentally and is now at a point where he wants to be rocked a lot and starting to get that normal separation anxiety. I thought having a swing would help so he is comforted. As much as I would like to hold him all day I have another child to care for and never ending laundry like every one else. He can't use the baby carriers so I figured this was the next best thing.It was fairy easy to put together. The only frustrating part for me was snapping the seat cover together.
